About Moto Ape
Moto Ape started as a side project.
I work in digital commerce by trade, helping brands build better online experiences. But I’ve also been riding for years, track, street, dirt, and everything in between. I’ve spent enough time around motorcycles and riders to notice that most gear either takes itself too seriously or doesn’t say much at all.
I wanted to create something simple and specific. Designs that reflect different types of riders without shouting. Clean line art. No trends. No over-the-top branding. Just a consistent, minimalist aesthetic that feels right whether you’re on a sport bike, a scooter, or something that barely runs.
The style is stripped down on purpose. White lines on dark shirts, no background noise. Each design is meant to stand on its own and feel familiar to people who ride.
I design everything in Seattle. The shirts are soft-wash cotton and offered in colors inspired by actual bikes because that kind of detail matters to the people I’m making them for.
Moto Ape isn’t a lifestyle brand. It’s just something I wanted to wear, and now I’m making it available to others who might feel the same way.
